My supplies keep disappearing...

Whole unopened boxes of French Vanilla creamer.

Most recently, an unopened bag of coffee that cost me 10.50 plus shipping because it was special ordered from Texas! That's only 1 pound of coffee for 10.50...

I'm frustrated and not quite sure what to do about this. Any ideas?

My Hubby leaves Friday for his year long deployment in Korea. Happy thoughts needed right about now. I wish I was allowed to have a pet of some sort...

So yesterday was the hubby's birthday. He's 22 now. I'm a year older. He likes to think he married me even though I'm older because he's mature. I think it's just for my body:) Haha...

We had a nice little dinner for him and my mother made this awesome mexican type dish.

My in-laws are coming this Friday and staying through Sunday and then we are leaving to go to New York to visit his family from Sunday thru Wednesday. I have 2 rooms left to clean in my house and laundry to do and then I'm all caught up on housework!!! Until another dish is dirtied or shirt is taken off:(

I got to essentially kidnap my cousin's 3 month old named Kaleb this weekend...first at the wake after a funeral I went to on Friday. I held him for about 2 hours and he fell asleep on me twice. I've never been able to get a baby to go to sleep for me so this was awesome!!! Then again on Sunday when we had Easter dinner...and then again last night at the birthday dinner. I told my hubby that the ovaries were calling to be filled and he swatted at me.

Well, my husband is still being deployed to Korea for a year...but we are not moving to NC afterwards! He is getting reassigned to Dover, DE again where we currently live!

Eventually we want to move south but for now, DE is fine.

I'll be staying in our current rental until after Christmas and New Years, and then afterwards, try to find another rental in a slightly bigger house because when Patrick gets home, we plan to start a family...or at least do nothing to prevent said family of coming at any time.

I'll also be trying to get back into cavies after we move. I've decided I want to do Silkies, Coronets, and Americans...with the possibility of importing some Lunkarya's and working on those!!! Maybe introduce some "slate blue" into my lines as well!

So, I've been trying to exercise more and lose weight. I know I need to. My reason is for wanting to shed nearly all my excess fat so that when I become pregnant in a year or two, I will not have as much to lose afterwards. I know I'll gain some weight during the pregnancy and it will take a while to get rid of once I have the baby, but for my health, it's what I need to do.

Then I remembered a bunch of people on here grumbling about their weight and trying to eat better/healthier...so I thought perhaps that I could start a Biggest Loser type competition on here with my LJ friends.

If you would like to be included, I'll create another LJ page and you all can join it.

Now, I know that they have special challenges on that show and I'm sure I can create a few that we could all do on here...but the main goal is to lose the weight and get healthy. Also, we all need to be rewarded from time to time.

So, I figured that when we finally reach our goal weight, all the other members could send the person who reached their goal weight $10 or something. It's not much BUT, in this economy, every little bit helps. For those who breed piggies, it's contributing to feed/bedding costs, for those who raise chickens, the same. For those who raise nothing but children, it's part of a night out with the hubby or significant other...

So what do you say? I'll wait a bit and wait for responses before I do anything...but I think that this could be fun!
 

Well, as it turns out, I had a change of heart. I asked for my hours to be reduced and such and if they could mainly schedule me out where I serve coffee. They are willing to work with me. This means that in this tough economy, I still have a job and I have minimal contact with the girl I can't stand. It's nearly perfect!

I want cavies back .

My husband leaves for Korea on May 1st. He'll be back in December for a mid-tour and then back again in May 2010. I'll be very sad to see him go but I'm actually looking forward to having the house to myself for a bit to restore order to it. I'm naturally messy but I do pick up after myself. My husband doesn't. He drives me nuts. I just want to be alone to clean and organize, and then have him come home. Too bad it doesn't work like that!

Only 4 more days until FREEDOM...or until I no longer have a job, except for Pampered Chef. I will miss working at Java City, the coffee shop we have on campus but I will NOT miss then having to go into the cafeteria to work there. 4 more days!!!!

Not sure where I'll find another job or even if I really want one right away...although everyone tells me I should look for one ASAP. We'll see.

Oh, and today's my birthday!

So, the situation at my job grew so out of control that I finally just quit. I've had enough. When you feel like you are going to be sick at the thought of even going into work, there is a problem. My last day is March 12th but I technically only have to work 5 more days because Spring Break is next week...and my birthday is on the 9th. Looking forward to that...I'll be 23.

They want me to stay and keep working but all but 2 of the managers have broken trust with me. It's just not a good place to be right now. I'll leave, let everything settle down with all the other employees, and maybe find another job. I am just too emotionally tired of dealing with all the crap to care that I'll be jobless. I don't actually NEED the job. I just like working and get bored at home. Hey, maybe if I'm home more, my house will be cleaner...??? It's a nice thought but not likely.

So that's what's up with me at the moment. Pretty much, my life is shit.

Well, I'm still alive and reading everyone else's posts. 

My job now sucks as they are replacing me as the baker, even though I do a fantastic job, because one of the managers niece's (who wanted my job before I even got it) is bored being the cashier and she wants to bake. This girl can't even bake to save her life. She got mad at me for throwing away some of her leftover muffin batter because it looked like liquid vomit (blueberry...ewww) and a few of her muffins because said batter was too liquidy and didn't cook properly and I couldn't even get them out of them pan, and so she went back a day later and threw away a whole tray of muffins that I made that were perfectly good. Well, the head of the cafeteria was not happy because she threw away money. She was banned from the bakery...now all of a sudden she's replacing me casuse she's not happy doing what they have her doing???!!! So not fair. This all means that as soon as I find another job, I'm quitting this one. I have several leads, I just have to sit down and put together a recent resume. 

So yeah, other than that, I'm doing well. My husband is leaving for Korea for a year without me between May 1st thru the 5th of this year. We're ok with the seperation, I married him knowing it was a possibility. When he gets back, we're moving to NC because he's being stationed at Pope Air Force Base. I'm excited!!!! I've been begging for him to consider moving there and now he has to!

Well, I have to go and clock into work. Until later! 

So, I'm not pregnant...I just had a touch of a stomach bug. Thankfully there was no puking involved nor anything from the other end...

I feel much better. I'm also exercising now. I joined an exercise group at my church and I can't wait to loose some inches and drop a pants size...or 3.....

That's about all that's up with me...

So, this question goes out to everyone on here who has physically given birth to a child...

Since my mother adopted me and I am an only child, I have questions that everyone close to me seems reluctant to answer.

Here is the question(s), how/when did you first realize you were pregnant? What were your "symptoms?"

Well, Happy New Year everyone...

Currently watching the Eagles/Vikings game. Parents are Eagles fans...I personally don't care who wins and advances in the playoffs tonight. I'm a Giants and Colts fan. Colts are out so GO GIANTS!

New Years was fun. Went up to NY to be with the hubby's side of the family...cleaned out a barn yesterday...well...helped it. I actually shoveled manure...go me. Not that it bothers me to do so...I rode horses for 7 years when I was younger...but I never had to clean out the stalls...arms aren't too sore either.

Not much is happening here...just trying to book some Pampered Chef shows and stuff...until later then...

 
Glad to hear you all seemed to have awesome Christmas days. I did as well. I received a GORGEOUS ring from my husband...a largish oval aquamarine (my birthstone) with 4 small diamonds on each side!

He also got me two pairs of my favorite mens pj pants from Penney's. They aren't too expensive and are COMFORTABLE and roomy without being saggy. I adore them. We didn't get too much for each other because on the 13th...we purchased a new car to replace my old '96 Prism...so now I drive a 2009 Dodge Journey!!!!! Melbourne Green, free satellite radio for a year...we are in love with this vehicle!!! It's our new family car...when we finally decide to have children it will be perfect:)

My parents went overboard and spoiled the two of us. We won't lie...we enjoyed it.

Saw Marley and Me yesterday. It was very good! The book made me cry when I finished it and the movie made me teary but it was awesome none the less.

That's about it...time to go and hang out with the aunt, cousin who is about to have a baby boy at any moment...she's 2 days overdue...and mother...

Thank you all for your congrats regarding my graduation. I sincerely appreciate it! Had a wonderful party last night. Good food, good company, all went well.

I will not be getting a doctorate any time soon. I am so over college and classes at this point!

I will be selling my Pampered Chef items and working full time Monday thru Thursday in my spare time.

I also just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. To those who have recently lost family or friends and are missing them over the holidays, be still and know that they are still here, embodied in us through cherished memories. God has them in good company and is watching over them.

It only took 4 1/2 years because I transferred and lost credits, but I finally graduated from college!!! I'm done! The ceremony was last night. A tad boring but hey, I was the first one up for my diploma in my group thanks to the fact that I married a man whose last name begins with A. I then had to wait for the rest of them to get them and then the final announcement and then we were released!

Also, as a Christmas present/graduation present/I love you present, Patrick and I finally replaced my old car with a BRAND NEW ONE! We bought a 2009 Dodge Journey. It's a wonderful SUV crossover and it rides so smooth and quietly. We also got free satellite radio for a year. We didn't really want it but now that we have it...I love it. I might have to start paying come next year when the free part of it expires! So...goodbye 1996 Geo Prism. You were a lovely first car but you were getting old and high mileaged. I'm happy to have replaced you with something else completely awesome!
